The Thursday Murder Club (Thursday Murder Club #1)

In a peaceful English retirement village, four unlikely friends, Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim, and Ron, meet every Thursday to pore over cold cases. When a local developer turns up dead, the Thursday Murder Club finds itself with a live investigation and a young police officer who can't quite keep up with them. Richard Osman's warm, witty series opener balances laugh-out-loud humor with a genuinely twisty mystery.
