Damsel

By custom, every prince must slay a dragon and rescue a damsel before he can become king. A young woman wakes with no memory in the arms of Prince Emory, who tells her she is Ama, the lady he has saved and will marry. But as she tries to settle into life at court, she begins to see how little choice she was ever given, and what the kingdom's fairy-tale rules really cost the women inside them. A dark, provocative feminist fantasy for older teens.
