Bound for Oregon

In 1852, nine-year-old Mary Ellen Todd sets out with her family on the long, dangerous journey along the Oregon Trail. Based on a real girl's experiences, this story follows the hardships and small joys of life on the trail, from river crossings and illness to new friendships and the hope of a new home in Oregon. A great companion for studying pioneer history.
